To celebrate this outstanding vintage, Cos d’Estournel conserved a number of precious bottles in its cellars before releasing them this year. A stackable three-bottle case was designed for the occasion in Paulownia, a light, sturdy wood that absorbs ten times more carbon dioxide than traditional species.
Amateurs of fine wines, rejoice! Cos d’Estournel 2010 is only the first in a series of vintages to be offered by the estate in a collectible format. Every year Cos d’Estournel will launch a new case of a vintage that, after years of cellaring at the estate, has reached its ideal moment for enjoyment.
